UCS Central - Migration from local-db to external database? – Cisco DevNet Developer Support

Hello,

we have Central 1.1.(2a) running with a local database and we think about migrating that local postgres-db to an external db.

Has anybody of you done that already?

Or does anybody know, where to find a best-practive-guide?

UCS Central's internal DB only supports 2 weeks of statistics data. Currently you can not move that data from a local to external DB. The rest of the UCS Central data (data other than stats) is only supported in the local DB, and not able to be exported.
