B420 M3 Adapters

Good day

In the UCSPE I configured a B420 M3 with 3 adapter slots (mLOM VIC 1240 and 2 Mezzanine VIC 1280). However, in the UCSM only 2 adapters show up. Rediscovery, reboot, etc. does not help.

Any suggestions?

Likely because that's not a valid config in the real world.

See Table 8 and 9 and figure 18. One Mezz has full connectivity to the IOM, the other Mezz shares connectivity with the mLOM to the other IOM. The picture should make it clear.

Add a VIC1280, VIC1240, and Port Expander (haven't tried, not even sure if Port Expander is an option in emulator) .. see if that works.

It is interesting that the 'B420 M3 High' template adds the VIC1240 and 2 VIC 1280 although the spec sheet does not list that as a valid config.

I don't find the Port Expander on the UCSPE.
