Using IP phone for click to call from web page

I am using URL:Tel protocol against phone number in a web page.

Problem is that it opens up Lynch and other program when user click on it. I checked default programs in windows and it shows only lync and Chrome as default program option.

How can I enable Cisco IP communicator to handle request for URL:Tel?

IP Communicator is not going to register those URL handlers. I believe you would have to use Jabber in softphone mode to handle URL schemes.
