Question:
I am bit out of my area here, but I'm trying to assist in finding a solution. Any pointers would be helpful. We are trying to link Zimbra with IMP, so when you click a phone number in an email, Jabber will call it. Zimbra hasn't been particularly helpful, saying only that they made it work, but haven't given us a defined configuration.
They want to connect via this link: Presence URL: http://cisco-gh79-rz-cups.jvm.de:8082/presence-service/users
And they want the Presence Session ID?
We made a application user account for Zimbra. We are CUCM 10.5.2.12901-1 and IMP 10.5.2.22900-2
Answer:
Not familiar with any Jabber-specific features or configurations in Zimbra, but you can make a contact a clickable link which launches Jabber by simply constructing the link using one of the protocol handlers covered here: Cisco Jabber 11.0 Deployment and Installation Guide - Cisco Jabber Reference Information [Cisco Jabber for Windows] - C…
