I am new to CMX and want to know if I have to develop a new use case in CMX how can I do that.
From all the documentation I am getting reference to various api's which we can hit and get the data.
I tried fetching the data from those api's using postman and able to get the response.
How can I get access to the code base to start developing a new use case.
Cisco CMX base and advanced services are available only as a licensed subscription, with a free trial license available for most services. The DevNet sandbox CMX 10 https://cmxlocationsandbox.cisco.com should not be used for development use, but only for learning labs and demos.
First determine what your objectives are, what do you want to accomplish with Cisco Wireless Networking.
Next you should deploy a Cisco Wireless LAN Controller and Access Points, see the following to help you select a development deployment. Cisco Mobility Express is the latest virtual controller for small deployments. You only need only one access point to get started, which will support Presence, Connect and Engage. If Location services is required then you will need additional access points to provide coverage for the site.

Then deploy Cisco CMX and Prime Infrastructure which are both available as Virtual Appliance images (CMX 10.2 on VMWare 5.1 or later hypervisor). Note, the prerequisites and hardware guidelines vary base on your requirements. For example Hyperlocation deployment is much different than requiring only Presence Analytics (single AP and PI not required since no map is used).
