How often is IPDT and Host information updated

Currently working on a tool that will check information about a host and switch port configuration based on an IP or MAC and the host inventory.Have activated IPDT during the discovery process and there is a lot of data populated in the host inventory, but there seems to be some hosts missing or not showing up.

• How often is the data collected from the devices IPDT
• Is it collected with the configuration poller job or is it a separate job.

By default the controller polls network-devices every 25mins.

 However, for hosts (user devices) you should enable SNMP traps which make the update happen when the interface changes state.  This applies to switches and WLC.
