- For WAN connection with sub-rate ethernet, where/how do I set the shaping function, e.g parent shaper of 50M, and child policy of APIC-EM generated one.
- Per video Cisco APIC-EM EasyQoS Demo on Vimeo
- it was mentioned a wan interface needs to be marked,
That comes from meta data in the description on the interface.
#WAN#20M#SPP4# would indicate the wan link is 50m and uses SP Profile #4 (8 class).
This also defines the SP Profile which is the mapping of the internal 12 class model into the SP model (in this case 8 class).
you can have 4/5/6/8 class maps.
1.3 will allow you to define your own SP maps.
- Is there a way to change the bandwidth percentage for each queue. The generated policy looks to have fixed percentage for each queue. How about buffer adjustment.
A custom profile will allow you to change the allocation of BW percentages.
