I am running UCS 2.2(1b), but our production environment is running 2.2(1d). How do I install 1d on my emulator? Do I need a particular version of the firmware (specific to the emulator)? Or will the "live" firmware work too?
We only release UCSPE for each major, minor, and most maintenance releases(X.Y(1z), where X is major, Y is minor, and the 1 is the maintenance release version of a UCSM release). The "z" in this case is a patch release of a MR train, and we rarely release a new UCSPE for the patch releases. Today, you can not update UCSPE to new UCSM firmware. You can upload the B / C firmware bundles (either full bundles or the stripped bundles) into UCSPE, but can not simulate a UCSM update. We will be releasing UCSPE for 2.2.2 very soon, though.
