We have received numerous reports of various endpoint security software (anti-virus) interfering with things like Cisco Web Communicator, TAPI, and Jabber Voice/Video.
This isn't something Cisco addresses. Please contact the OEM of the endpoint security software you're using to find out what you can do.
For what it's worth, we at Cisco use McAfee, and that works fine with Jabber Voice/Video, TAPI, etc.
