Q. What would cause CiscoTerminalConnection.startRecording() to throw ResourceUnavailableException CTIERR_RESOURCE_NOT_AVAILABLE?
Are there some CUCM configuration settings that could cause this?
What are the typical causes of this exception? Overloading? Misconfiguration? etc.
The problem occurs in Cisco Jtapi version 11.0(1.10000)-2 Release.
The same code works perfectly fine in Cisco Jtapi version 9.1(2.12040)-1 Release.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
A. You probably checked if BIB is enabled if this is a device based recording.
Other potential causes:
- Out of band-width for the recording call
- Recording call not answered
It was BIB.
