How to create a custom logger in CVP ?

I was trying to create a custom Logger to understand how it works. Unfortunately could not find any example/skeleton code for Custom Logger. For example , I want to Log only what happened during on some element ,how can I write into say ,SpecificActivityLog ?.

How do I set the path for this log file ?. Any example skeleton code is much helpful ..

Any hints ??
