How to start development on GED188

Hi  I have downloaded the message reference guide,

but how to start developing and using these messages. I want to create a CTI application.

You need to create an application that reads and writes to a tcp socket.  Using CTI Server protocol (GED-188) requires knowledge of tcp socket programming.

There is no API or sample application only the message reference.   Why are you not using CTIOS or Finesse rather than CTI Server protocol?

Sure. Thank you dlender, I understand now. We can develop a socket app. The Idea is to develop a CTI appliation that can interface with UCCE for callbacks requested at a preferred time in IVR.
