We would like to understand CMX database structure to analyse the details available and decide on the required information.

At a High Level, the data in CMX is based on the MAC address and where that MAC address was at a specific point in time.
MAC, TIMESTAMP, X,Y
These are the high level values. In addition, you have information such as where the X,Y is in relation to and if the device was in a specific named zone.
