CUCM - Query backup status

we are currently setting up a CUCM infrastructure in our company. - I am 'the monitoring guy' and would like to know a way of knowing the backup status of the components as Unified Communication Manager, Unity Connection, IM&P Server and so on.

Most promising seemed to be via REST on RisPort70 SOAP Service API - but I could not find something which gives information about it.

Is there another way to query it via REST / Command-line / SQL Query or something else?
