How do I mute a call using the Finesse API?
Unfortunately, the Finesse REST API, Finesse JavaScript API, and the Finesse Agent Desktop does not have mute support. This is because Mute is not a third-party call control action as Mute involves manipulating the voice stream, which is a first-party (phone-side) action.
The workaround for this is to integrate with the phone itself to provide the feature.
