How do you handle gadget failover?

Starting Finesse 11.6(1) an alternateHosts attribute was added specify alternate hosts from which the gadget can be loaded. This allows the Cisco Finesse desktop to load the gadget using a different host if the primary server is unavailable. This only applies when the absolute URL is used in the desktop layout.

Note that you should import the finesse.js library of the Finesse server that is up. Please see the Import Finesse JavaScript API section of the Finesse Developer guide.

If you host your gadget on the Finesse server using the 3rdpartygadget account, you need to upload the gadget on both Finesse servers and use the relative URL in the desktop layout.
