Why can't I see the changes I made to the desktop layout?

If you modified the desktop layout and it is not reflected when you log in a user, there are four possible reasons:

1. You did not sign out and sign back in the user after making the change.
2. You did not wait long enough for the changes to take effect on the desktop. The duration it takes to reflect on the desktop varies per release. Please see the Update Default Desktop Layout section of the Finesse Administration Guide for the release specific duration.
3. In the desktop layout XML, there are two role sections: an Agent section and a Supervisor section. Is it possible that you changed the wrong one? Or you didn't change both?
4. Under Team Resources, you can override the Desktop Layout for every team. Maybe you have overwritten the system default layout?
